Hi there! We are Tyler & Kelsie, a husband/wife duo and the founders of Portside. We first met leading worship at The University of Akron's college ministry: Campus Focus. After graduation, we began our professional careers and were married shortly after.

A few years later, a family friend reached out for a second opinion on their accounting processes. Stress, lack of time, and concerns about continuity were all driving forces behind re-imagining workflow and financial systems. We jumped into action, took over payroll, transferred paper records to QuickBooks, began financial reporting, and saved him thousands in taxes. It wasn't long before word-of-mouth spread and we were able to help many others. As second generation entrepreneurs with 10+ years experience as finance professionals, we are well-equipped to fulfill our mission: 1) save business owners time & money 2) reduce stress 3) develop and execute an intentional plan that turns a dream into reality. ​

When we aren't crunching numbers, we enjoy spending our free time with friends, family, and our 2-yr. old son (Peppers). We love traveling, exercising, camping, boating, snowboarding, dirt biking, and scuba diving. We love adventure and have structured our lives to thrive. We want the same for you.
